We - the working group Applied Analytical Chemistry at the University of Duisburg-Essen - are very pleased that Agilent Technologies has included us in their "Global network of world-class Centers of Excellence".
This network currently includes ETH Zurich, Imperial College in London, the University of South California in USA, Queens University in Belfast, the University of Adelaide in Australia, and the University of Copenhagen.

We will use the existing state-of-the-art equipment (GC-MSD, GC-Triplequad-MS, GC-qTOF-MS, LC-Triplequad-MS, LC-qTOF-MS, LC-IM-qTOF-MS, 2D -LC systems, SFC-ELSD, ICP-MS, and ICP-OES) for the planned further education courses of our Teaching and Research Center for Separation.
In addition, we will now be able to dedicate ourselves even more intensively to our research in the fields of origin-of-life, metabolomics, lipidomics, analysis of chemical messengers, and non-targed analysis.
